DescriptionIn 1965 a Research Officer was appointed on the recommendation of the Committee of Principals to devise a plan for teaching practice placement in primary and secondary schools. The Advisory Committee on Teaching Practice was constituted with representatives from schools, local education authorities and colleges. In 1967 a new Research Officer was appointed and began work to devise a new plan for primary schools to spread the load more evenly. The plan took three years to devise.

This report shows the link between every school and college within the Institute. There are two volumes: the first volume is divided into the various London Borough, County and Borough Councils that came within the jurisdiction of the Institute and then by schools; the second volume is organised by the constituent colleges.
