Title	Bedford Way - Administration - Wing Block C and precinct developments

Description	Correspondence regarding the new Bedford Way Building, particularly plans for the building of Wing Block C which was to house the library and provide additional tutors rooms. This was never built. The accommodation covers: Concerns over where the library will go given delays in moving on to building more of the wings of the Bedford Way building (only 1 was ever built) and the lease on Ridgmount Street running out in 1981 Preparations for the move, including discussion of dates to vacate other buildings, 1968 Delays over work on Stage III of the new building Disputes between the University of London and a building contractor firm, and the implications of this on IOE building grants Arrangements for moving in to the new building Furniture and equipment required for the new building Analysis of library area needs Draft plans by Denis Lasdun & Partners: Stage 4 Second Floor Plan; First Floor plan; Ground Floor Plan; Lower Ground Floor Plan; and Basement plan - all dating from July/August 1978.
