The photos are part of the Cocoa Campaign in the 1950s which was carried out in what was then known as the Gold Coast, now Ghana. The objective of the campaign was to increase the yield of cocoa farms. Campaign methods included 16mm film, film strips, the creation of a cocoa high life song as well as posters which were handed out at the screening events.
