The papers for each year are usually divided into four exams, along the following lines: 'Paper I: Psychology.' 'Paper II: Education: Principles And Organisation.' 'Paper III: Education: Methods Of Teaching.' 'Paper IV: Social And Administrative Problems.' From 1983 onwards this qualification was renamed 'Diploma in the Psychology and Education of Children with Special Needs'.
