DescriptionIndex cards organised alphabetically.
The information on the cards varies but all generally include the address of the member of staff at the time of leaving, date of birth, date the person left the IOE, and job titles held. Some cards also include degrees held, the department they worked in, date of death, salary, and other information such as major events or references to letters sent to that member of staff.
The main period covered by the cards is from 1960 to the 1980s but there are also cards recording basic information for staff who worked at the Institute earlier including the Directors.
