Article discussing the impossibility of divorcing religion from education. Three main questions are examined in this article. Firstly the question of voluntary aided schools which are maintained by Local Education Authorities but which are controlled by a religious community. Secondly, that of the educational issues concerning the schools' curriculum and the attention that should be paid to them by those who attempt to base their lives on religious principle. Thirdly, questions regarding the nature of religious education in schools controlled by Local Education Authorities.
