| AdminHistory | The autobiography began with the title 'For amateurs only'. Katz started work on the project intending to write a longer book but only completed the first part of it. It was given by Katz as the Bayliss-Starling Lecture in 1985 and subsequently published in the Journal of Physiology in 1986. It was later reprinted in 'The History of Neuroscience in Autobiography' in 1996. A German translation titled 'Eine autobiographische Skizze' was also published. |
