| Description | In addition to lecturing at this conference, Katz delivered the Keith Inglis Memorial Lecture and gave talks at Sydney Hospital, the International Bio-engineering Conference, three public lectures as well as undergraduate lectures and seminars at Melbourne and Monash Universities. He also held a visiting fellowship at Ormond College, University of Melbourne, between 17 August and 22 September. At the request of the British Council he then visited Singapore and Thailand between
