Also includes letter from Bathhurst to Miss Froud apologising for the disorder of the papers and enclosing £10 cheques for them each for their trouble (11 Apr). A response from Mrs Smith, Assistant Secretary, acknowledging receipt of the papers and cheques and suggesting the money be given to charity as they could not accept a fee (13 Apr). Copy of a lettter from the Assistant Secretary informing her the box of papers has arrived and seeking advice (4 May).
