| Description | Lonsdale travelled to India in order to represent the British Association for the Advancement of Science at the 49th session of the Indian Science Congress in Cuttack, 3-9 January 1962. She travelled widely during her stay in India and gave several lectures, but unfortunately fell ill and hand to spend a week in Breach Candy Nursing Home, Bombay, before returning to England. |
