The first is from Tom Gretton and Diana Simpson, Chair and Treasurer of the campaign, regarding the ballot and requesting Kenneth Baker to provide 'a statement of not more than 200 words outlining your reasons for thinking that the abolition of ILEA is a sound policy'. The second letter to Lord Beloff from Tom Gretton, Chair and Nicole Shelton, Treasurer, refers to Lord Beloff's piece in the Times, which suggested that the London Parents' Ballot Campaign was 'an improper enterprise to undertake' and was 'questionable'.
