- A newspaper cutting with the hand-written indication that it is from 'STD (Final)' on 13 April and the heading '94 p.c. of parents say: Keep ILEA', commenting on the ballot and the differing points of view from MPs and others.

- A newspaper cutting taken from 'IND' (presumably the Independent) from 21 April. The headline reads 'The majority that everyone ignored' and relates to the results of the ballot campaign and the lack of interest from the government.

- A newspaper cutting from the Evening Standard, with the hand-written date of 20 April and the heading 'Letters: That ILEA vote was no sham...' with arguments against the claims that the ballot was not valid.
