| Description | Folder contains a typed and annotated draft of an article written by Louis Arnaud Reid, dated April 1982, entitled 'Art Teaching and the Conceptual Understanding of Art', which was published in Anthony Dyson (Ed.) 'Art and Design Education: Heritage and Prospect' (1983). Also included in the folder is correspondence with the editor of the book about releasing a second edition, and Reid's draft of a revised article for the new edition, for which he changed the title of the article to 'The Conceptual Understanding of Art and the Aesthetic and its Importance for Education'. The new edition of the book was published in 1986. |
