DescriptionLarge file entitled 'Sewells Orchard + Notes d/d, Ref HAA…'. Ralph and Muriel Crowley had earlier bought the land known as Sewells Orchard meadow, near Welwyn, at Tewin. Later three houses were built on the land to a similar design for related families. The houses were designed by Mary Medd and Cecil Kemp, and one of them was for Ralph and Muriel. They were inspired by Mary's travels to Stockholm in 1930. The file contains:
