AdminHistoryOrthodox Ashkenazi synagogue, originally founded in 1810 as Amudae Yesharim Congregation in Soho, a breakaway from the Westminster Congregation (later the Western Synagogue); this synagogue was closed in 1826 and re-established in 1829 in Maiden Lane, Covent Garden. Closed in 1907 and the congregation re-incorporated into the Western Synagogue.
