Property: one messuage in Bookham in the county of Dorset with all barns, stables and outhouses thereunto belonging; also the orchard and garden adjoining. Also a close of land adjoining called Hayes Head of approx. 4 acres, a close called South Hayes of approx. 3 acres, a mead [meadow] called Long Mead of approx. 2 acres, a mead called Force Hay of approx. 1 acres, a close called Five Acres of approx. 5 acres, a close called Neathway and Culwerway of approx. 3 acres, a close called Elwerland of approx. 8 acres, a close called Bottnams of approx. 9 acres. Plus 9 acres of arable land in the common fields of Knowle, 8 acres and half a mere of arable land dispersed in the common lands of Bookham, 2 acres of arable land in the common fields of Buckland, and common of pasture for 50 sheep in the common lands of Buckland. All of which are now in the tenure of William Tollerfeild. Transaction: 1) leases (hath demised, granted and to farm let) to 2) the property specified above, after the death, surrender or forfeiture of the estate and term which William Tollerfeild and Joane his wife now have in the property by Copy of Court Roll. Consideration: 70 pounds. Also in consideration of a surrender by Thomas Tollerfeild of an estate granted in reversion to William Tollerfeild of Bookham in the Parish of Buckland in the county of Dorset by copy of the court roll of the Manor of Knowle. With a yearly rent of 34 shillings to be paid in four instalments by 2) to 1), and a heriot to be paid on the deaths of the persons specified in the term.
