Parties: 1) Thomas Hodge of the parish of Newton Ferris [Newton Ferrers], Devon, husbandman; Elias Hodge, son of the said Thomas Hodge 2) Nicholas Alger of the parish of Revelstocke [Revelstock], Devon, carpenter Property: A parcel of land known as Yealland Peece containing approximately 10 perches, adjoining the lands of Nicholas Alger on the west side, connected to an orchard. Also one other parcel of woody ground situated next to the parcel of land or orchard aforesaid on the north side of the highway and being on the clift or bend of the Saltwater, also adjoining the lands of Nicholas Alger on the west side and containing approximately three perches. All of which are in the borough of Noss Mayo in the parish of Revelstock. With appurtenances etc. Transaction: 1) leases to 2) the property specified with the intent that in accordance with the Statute of Uses 2) may be in actual possession of the land and able to take the release of the property in fee simple.
