Parties: 1) Francis Basset of Tehidy in the county of Cornwall 2) Thomas White of Hlogan [Iluggan?] in the county of Cornwall Property: Parcel of land on Nakeage Down containing about 2 acres , also the dwelling house on this parcel in the possession of James White and Thomas White. Transaction: 1) leases to 2) a parcel of land on Nakeage Down containing about 2 acres which was part of a parcel of about 7 acres leased by Henry Rolle to James White, father of the said Thomas White, by indenture of 1 July 1732. To include the dwelling house on this parcel in the possession of James White and Thomas White. Excepting rights to any oak, ash, elm or witehall trees, or mineral rights and rights necessary to the exploitation of these resources, these to be retained by Francis Basset and his heirs. Consideration: £5 paid by 2) to 1) on the sealing and delivery of this indenture, followed thereafter by an annual rent of 2 shillings and 4 pence to be paid at equal instalments at the quarter days. Term: 99 years, or the lives of Grace, wife of Thomas White, and their son Thomas White, following the death of the said Thomas White.
