AdminHistoryThe document perhaps relates to the Dutch War when, following the Treaty of Dover between France and England in 1670, the British navy supported the French invasion of 1672. Following the Netherlands' alliance with Spain and other powers in 1673, the French had to retreat, and in 1674 the British made peace with the Dutch.
