| Description | Single folio, parchment, from Justinian's Codex. The text on this folio is taken from Book III.XVIII, De Probationis 7. Main body text with a marginal gloss and additional minute gloss. The script of the main body text is a standardised litera bononiensis which, along with the red and blue rubrics and absence of Greek passages, signifies it as a Bolognese legal manuscript, probably of the mid-14th century.
The large number of marginal and interlineal annotations and nota marks suggest that this manuscript was heavily used. The verso has additional marginal annotations between the main body text and the gloss, possibly in the same hand as the minute gloss seen on MS FRAG/LAT/6/4. |
