Description | Single folio, parchment, from Justinian's Codex. The text on this folio is from Book VI. XXXVIII De Uerborum Et Rerum Significatione 4.1. Comprised of main body text and a marginal gloss with an additional minute gloss and marginal annotations. The script of the main body text is a standardised litera bononiensis, which, along with the red and blue rubrics and absence of Greek passages signify it as a Bolognese legal mss, probably of the mid-14th century.
On the verso there are line drawings of two faces in the margin between column A and the gloss. There are also some textual markers. |
