CustodialHistory | Once in the possession of Lalande and later of Dr Scott. A letter from the Revd Th[omas] J Hussey to Dr J Scott is pasted on folio 5r of the first volume. The manuscript was sold at the sale of Scott's library by Sotheby & Co in 1850, and must soon afterwards have come into the possession of John Thomas Graves (1806-1870), mathematician and Professor of Jurisprudence at University College London, whose collection included manuscripts dating from the 15th to the 19th century, relating mainly to mathematics.
