AdminHistoryAbraham Broda (Leipniker Lwy), born Timisoara, Rumania, c1690; dayan of the Jewish community of Usov, Moravia and a respected merchant; succeeded in obtaining permission to build two prayer houses, 1753, and recorded the proceedings in his 'Megilat Sedarim', to be read yearly on Simhat Torah (published in 1895 by Emanuel M. Baumgarten).
