Description	Papers regarding gender equality initiative at Hackney Downs School for boys. In the early 1980s a Women's Group had been set up at the school to address problems of sexual harassment at the school. The group implemented a 'Skills for living' course which taught the pupils domestic skills and other life skills as a way of tackling sexism.
