Description | Papers regarding the Winning Words competition for 13-25 year olds to submit a piece of creative, organisational and journalism writing. Applicants were also required to submit an entry form including information on how their youth group or youth worker had helped them develop their writing skills and why they had submitted the particular piece of writing, with a statement of support from the youth worker. Includes entry forms with pieces of work submitted to the competition. Entries include poetry; lobbying letters and short stories covering a range of subjects including changes to procedures for access to benefits for asylum seekers; domestic violence; the anti-Semitism / racisim / prejudice; famine and starvation in Mozambique.
