AdminHistoryThe National Youth Agency was launched in 1991 and worked to establish a National Federation of Youth Action Agencies. The NFYAA was officially launched on 1st April 1995 at Charity Fair '95 to provide local youth organisations with a national collective voice and to promote the youth action approach to volunteering, support existing member agencies and help develop new youth action organisations. The Lottery provided funding for two members of staff for the NFYAA from October 1997 and the Federation became independent from the NYA in 1999
