The Hans' arrived in Liverpool on 2/8/1920 according to a stamp on the back of this visa. - Letter from the Foreign Office to the mother of Grace Hans informing her, in reply to her letter, that there is no objection to Mrs Gracie Hans and her husband Nicholas Hans coming to the UK, 3/6/1920. - Letter from the Foreign Office to the mother of Grace Hans informing her that His Majesty's High Commissioner in Constantinople have been instructed to issue the necessary visa for Grace and Nicholas Hans to come to the UK, 11/6/1920 - Declaration of Acquisition of British Nationality for Grace Florence Hans, 24/9/1934 - Drawing, by Nicholas Hans, of two ships and some smaller boats coming in to harbour. - D J Foskett (IOE Librarian), 19/3/1969. Letter wishing Hans well after hearing of his recent illness, giving news on the new IOE library premises, news on when they plan to rename the reference department as the Hans Library, confirming that a portrait of Nicholas Hans will hang there, and enclosing a letter from Professor Judges (which Foskett thinks must have been inside a book Hans donated to the library). - A V Judges (Cambridge Texts & Studies in the history of education), 30/10/1966. Praise for Hans' manuscript 'Comparative study of technical education' and suggestions for who he should contact to publish it. - Raoul Croizin.
