Description | The volume is inscribed '140 cases. Noted 131 in 55 Hospitals' and 'Col Percy Sargent RAMC 20 Harley St W1' on the inside front cover. It lists cases in alphabetical name order with columns for name, number/rank, regiment, date of wound, case number, level, hospital in England, and notes. Curiously, the book has been extensively used at a later date as a scrapbook of press cuttings relating to gardening and botany, dating from c1940s. Many of these these have been pasted in over pages containing entries for patients.
