An unbound report entitled ‘Study of Family Planning in a Sample of Families from the National Survey’, written by James Douglas, January 1963 (25 pages). This was the initial analysis of a sub-study of the National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD), whose director at the time was James Douglas. This sub-study was also sometimes referred to as the ‘Fertility Survey’.
