Title	Second Generation Study: Contact with schools

Description	The contents of a pack that would have been sent to headteachers as part of the Second Generation Study, a sub-study of the MRC National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD). The Second Generation Study involved the children of NSHD study members. Each pack would contain: - a letter to the headteacher; - a small booklet giving some background information on the NSHD, and the Second Generation Study; - a questionnaire booklet about the child, to be filled out by one of their teachers. File also includes correspondence with regional Directors of Education and other senior education officers, regarding permission to ask the schools in that area for help with the Second Generation Study.
