Title	MRC Unit progress report 1962-1965

Description	A copy of the November 1965 progress report of the Unit for the Study of Environmental Factors in Mental and Physical Illness to the Medical Research Council (MRC). This MRC unit had been set up in 1962 to continue the work of the National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD). The report therefore focusses on the Unit's NSHD work, but also covers the Unit's family studies in Waltham Forest. After this review, the MRC carried out further reviews of the NSHD every 5 years. These became known as 'quinquennial reviews' or 'QQRs'. This report is currently available online, through the MRC NSHD website: https://www.nshd.mrc.ac.uk/
