Description	An unbound document entitled 'Progress Report 1971-1974 of the MRC Unit for the Study of Environmental Factors in Mental and Physical Illness’. This MRC unit had been set up in 1962 to continue the work of the National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD). This report therefore focusses mainly on the recent activities of the NSHD, but also covers the Unit's other research into the early behaviour and development of children.
