Description	Papers regarding the Medical Research Council (MRC)’s 1979 review of the National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD). As the NSHD's core costs have been funded by the MRC since 1962, the MRC carries out these reviews of the study every 5 years. They are therefore also known as 'quinquennial reviews' or ‘QQRs’. This file contains a letter from the MRC letting the NSHD know the outcome of the review, and an attached extract from the minutes of the MRC Neurosciences Board meeting, June 1979.
