Title	2006-2010 data collection: Planning and administration

Description	Papers regarding the planning and administration of the 2006-2010 data collection, or ‘sweep’, of the MRC National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD). Collection of data took place in 2006–07 in a feasibility study on 10% of the NSHD sample living near the Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility (CRF) in Manchester. From 2008-10 data was collected from the remainder of the NSHD study members at five other CRFs around the UK. This was the NSHD’s first clinical study, using medical scans such as electrocardiogram (ECG) and heart ultrasound scans to collect data from study members.
