Description	Papers regarding the planning and administration of the 1982 data collection, or ‘sweep’, of the MRC National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD). This description of the 1982 data sweep is taken from the NSHD’s 75th birthday brochure: 'The 1982 data collection had many firsts for the NSHD. It was the first time the NSHD used a team of nurses to collect data at home. It was also the first time the study obtained measures of lung function, blood pressure and mental health, as well as the first time diet diary were used.'
