Description	Coding and processing instructions for the data gathered, through clinic visits and through postal questionnaires, during the 2006 Manchester data collection of the MRC National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD). The work carried out in Manchester was a feasibility study for the main NSHD data collection, to be rolled out across the country from 2008, as part of the NSHD's ‘Life course pathways to ageing’ research programme.
