Description	Documents regarding ethical approval for a period of data collection for the National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD). This period was known as ‘Ageing & health in middle life in the MRC National Survey of Health and Development: genetic studies of mental health and cognitive function’, and involved gaining the approval of the NHS London Multi-Centre Research Ethics Committee (MREC). This file includes: - examples of blank forms, information leaflets for study members; - notes on the ethical approval process; - notices of amendments to the study; - progress reports; - draft sections for the application form.
