Description	Consists of attendance book for a Men and Women's Club (note on front reads that it was a precursor of The Men and Women's Club 1885-1889. Hume Pingent, Annie Eastty, Ralph Thicknesse were members. Karl Pearson and Robert Parker first appeared as visitors in 1883. The book lists members at the front. The first meeting was held on 4 Nov 1879. George Bernard Shaw was a visitor at a meeting on 19 May 1885.
