Comprises letters to her children Arthur, Karl and Amy, primarily asking them to be good for their relatives, particularly the grandfather, Aunt Nellie, Aunt Lizzie, and nurse, whilst Fanny and William were away from home, on going to see the singer Sims Reeves in concert, writing to Arthur at Rugby School in his last year, and futher letters to Arthur about her illness and William's trip to Dewhurst (also enclosing a letter from Amy), answering a birthday greeting, and sending a birthday greeting, and on possibility of Karl's tutor Routh getting a Professorship.
