Also introductory page by Egon Pearson. Karl Pearson was lecturer in Geometry at Gresham College between 1891-1894. His first course, "The scope and concepts of modern science", began on 3 Mar 1891 and much of the material was published in <i>Grammar of Science</i>. "The Laws of Chance" was another set of lectures delivered on 1 Nov 1892 and was the first series devoted to the theory of probability. |
