Enclosed is a photograph of the Galtons' house in Steelhouse lane, plus a transcript of Samuel Galton's address to the Friends of the Monthly Meeting at Birmingham, 1795.</p>
<p>Also enclosed are three further letters: Walter Barrow to John Humphreys regarding Galton family history; Karl Pearson to John Humphreys regarding Galton history and the marriage of Lucy Barclay; and C Dickinson Sturge to J Humphreys regarding the Galton and Barclay families.</p> |
