Description	Typescript titled "North American Tour Summer 1958". Transcript of a diary diary kept by Penrose during his tour of the USA and Canada with his wife and daughter during the summer of 1958. Describes his visits to see friends and former colleagues and lectures given at various universities, including the Xth International Congress of Genetics at McGill University, Montreal. Entries cover the period 4th July - 8th September 1958. Entries from the 8th August onwards have been transcribed from the original diary (PENROSE/1/20/2/1).
