Print of an engraving by Robert Webster of 'Miss Hannah Thatcher'. Hannah Thatcher had been born deaf and dumb and at the age of 11 was presented to the Queen 'on acquiring the sense of hearing and the faculty of speech under the surgical treatment of Wm. Wright Esq, Her Majesty's Surgeon'.
