Description	Library loans register relating to the Deaf Welfare Examination Board. Originally used by Reverend Mackenzie to record loans from 1953-1958. In 1958 Dr Pierre Gorman, Librarian of the National Institute for the Deaf (later RNID) was asked to recover all books out and add to rest of stock then transport to NID.

AdminHistory	The Deaf Welfare Examination Board was established in 1929. The Board resulted from merging the Joint Examination Board of the "Central Advisory Council for Spiritual Care of the Deaf and Dumb", plus the National Council of Missioners and Welfare Officers to the Deaf.
