AdminHistorySelwyn Oxley (1890-1951) was a mission worker who worked with the deaf in the 1920s and 1930s through his involvement with the Guild of St John Beverley. He gained an MA from Gallaudet College (now Gallaudet University), USA, a higher educational institution for the deaf and hard of hearing, in 1939.

His publications include:
'A pageant entitled "The deaf of other days: in twelve episodes"' [1928]
'A pageant play entitled St. John of Beverley...' 2nd editon,1932
'With Compliments from Mr. Selwyn Oxley. [A tract on mission work among the deaf.]' 1930
'Work in the deaf world: with a list of schools, missions and societies at work in the deaf world compiled by W Raper and Selwyn Oxley' 1928.
