Description	Comprises letters between Professor Alexander R Luria and Joan Simon (1953-1975) and Professor Luria and Brian Simon (1958-1978). Most of the correspondence is from Professor Luria to the Simons, although there are also some replies. Subjects include Simon's research and his publications, Luria's work on children and intelligence, translations of each others' work, and Brian Simon's visits to the Soviet Union including as part of a delegation of educationists. Further papers regarding Simon's visits to the Soviet Union are at SIM/6/1. Also includes: Letter to Lionel Elvin from Brian Simon dated 26 October 1976 regarding Luria's plans to publish a book on 'The Application of Psychology to Education and Didactic Problems' Letter from Edward Berg dated 13 December 1970 regarding his work on Soviet psychology
