Description	Correspondence and papers relating to a STOPP survey of teachers on the use of corporal punishment in schools. Includes analysis of replies and excerpts of information from teachers and various other individuals. Some accounts may have been taken from responses to the survey, others are from newspapers and magazines. The survey was not intended to be representative of all schools but to provide an overview of what was happening in some schools. Also includes papers regarding the NFER survey of rewards and punishments.
