| Description | A large scrapbook containing constitutional documents and ephemera of the Trades Advisory Council (TAC), particularly covering the first few years of the TAC’s activities. Some of the documents have been stuck into place, but many of the documents and booklets have been inserted loose.
The documents in this volume include the following TAC documents:
- internal memos;
- terms of reference for committees;
- early TAC policy documents;
- leaflets and booklets;
- various internal reports;
- several editions of the TAC newsletter ‘Monthly Bulletin’: January 1941, and June/July 1942, Dec 1943, and April/May 1950;
- two booklets of TAC constitution and rules, 1941 and 1943;
- membership forms;
- two TAC annual reports: 1941/42, and 1942/43;
- invitations to events;
- a draft bill to make fascist activities and organisations illegal in the UK;
- circular letters to TAC members. |
