| Description | A bound, untitled scrapbook of newspaper cuttings, which cover the activities of the Trades Advisory Council (TAC) – its aims, its meetings, and its interventions in trade.
Each cutting is annotated with the date of the article and the name of the newspaper. Most of the cuttings are from Jewish newspapers (mainly British, but some international). Three articles are in Hebrew or Yiddish, two of which have translations attached. Other cuttings are taken from British national and regional newspapers. This scrapbook also includes a list of TAC officers, and leaflets, flyers and posters for TAC meetings. Although the vast majority of the cuttings are taken from 1940-1949, one small article is from 1961. |
