TitleLeaflets and circulars regarding Israel
Date1945-1983
DescriptionVarious kinds of publicity material, information handouts, and circulars regarding Israel. The organisations producing the material are mostly Jewish organisations, with several items from the the UK Israel Public Affairs Committee (BIPAC) and the Conservative Friends of Israel. Some of the Jewish organisations describe themselves as Zionist, and some of the Jewish organisations describe themselves as anti-Zionist.

The material includes leaflets, newsletters, circular letters, photocopies of news articles, and texts of speeches. It covers the following topics:

- relations between the UK and Israel;
- the actions of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO);
- events in the middle east, including the trade boycott of Israel by Arabic countries, armed conflict, and the Camp David framework for peace;
- leaflets and press cuttings regarding the Arab League.

File also includes some anti-immigrant and anti-Jewish magazines, which include Holocaust denial.

This material appears to have been collected by Maurice Orbach, General Secretary of the Trades Advisory Council (TAC) from 1940 to 1979, and campaigner against racial discrimination.
